正面描述 Diademed and draped bust of Emperor Anastasius I facing right, rendered in a somewhat barbarous style characteristic of Germanic imitative coinage. The emperor wears a pearl diadem and a paludamentum fastened at the shoulder, with the rounded shoulder treatment and straight tassels noted as diagnostic for this emission. The facial features are stylized, with bold, slightly crude engraving reflecting provincial or tribal workmanship. The obverse legend D N ANASTASIVS PP VC runs around the periphery in debased Latin characters. The overall style departs from the refined classical execution of the Byzantine prototype, betraying its imitative origin.

背面描述 Standing figure of Victory facing, rendered in a barbarous imitative style, holding a long staff or cross in the right hand and a globus cruciger or wreath in the left. The figure is schematically depicted with broad, stylized wings, reflecting the degraded engraving typical of Germanic tremissis imitations of Byzantine prototypes. The reverse legend VICTORIA AVGVSTORVM runs around the periphery, with the mint mark CONOB in the exergue, imitating the Constantinople gold coinage convention. The execution is rough compared to the imperial prototype, with irregular letter forms and uneven field surfaces consistent with hammered barbarous imitative production.
