Reverse description Standing figure of Victory facing front, rendered in a barbarous imitative style, holding a long cross or staff in the right hand and a globus cruciger in the left, set within a beaded border. The figure's drapery and stance echo Byzantine tremissis prototypes but display the simplified, somewhat stiff execution typical of Germanic imitative coinage. The mint control mark CONOB appears in the exergue, retained from the Byzantine model to lend authority to the issue. The surrounding legend, though partially garbled, attempts to replicate the standard Byzantine Victory reverse inscription.
