| Beschrijving keerzijde | Stylized Victory figure standing facing, with wings spread, holding a wreath and globus cruciger or long cross, rendered in a highly schematic and debased manner typical of Germanic imitative coinage. The design echoes the reverse type of Byzantine tremisses of the late 5th to 6th century, though the execution is crude and the figure is reduced to a series of incised lines. A degenerate pseudo-legend fills the surrounding field, consisting of repetitive stroke-like characters imitating a Latin inscription. A horizontal line or exergual element is visible at the base. |
