Obverse description Central field features a katar (push dagger) with ornate crossguard, depicted point upward. The Gregorian date 1943 appears below the katar, flanked on either side by small floral or star ornaments. A circular legend in Urdu script runs along the inner margin, reading 'George VI, Emperor of India, struck at Bhuj,' enclosing the central devices. The entire design is contained within a beaded border.
