| Obverse description | The obverse bears an entirely epigraphic design in Perso-Arabic (Urdu) script, with the legend arranged in multiple horizontal lines across the field. The uppermost line reads the name of the British sovereign George V, followed by the title Kaiser-i-Hind (Emperor of India), the mint name Bhuj, and the Hijri or regnal date 1920. Small pellet ornaments are scattered throughout the field as decorative elements, and the design fills the flan to the rim without a raised border. |
