Reverse description A bold long cross extending to the coin's periphery divides the field into four quadrants, each containing a segment of an inner circular legend rendered in uncial Gothic lettering within a beaded ring. The cross arms are plain and strongly struck, with the inner legend continuing uninterrupted through all four quadrants. An outer circular legend in the same uncial script runs between the beaded inner border and the milled rim, together conveying the full Christological and monetary inscriptions characteristic of the gros tournois tradition.
