| Obverse description | Uniformed bust of Ahmad Shah Qajar facing slightly left, depicted wearing a distinctive astrakhan lambswool crown adorned with a jewelled aigrette and upright plume. The Shah is shown in military dress with a high collar and epaulettes visible on the shoulders. The Arabic numeral date ۱۳۳۷ (AH 1337) is divided across the field, flanking the portrait on either side. The coin is bordered by a uniform beaded inner rim. |
