| 备注 |
The 1966 series marked a significant redesign of Mongolian paper currency under Soviet-era standardization, with the State Bank producing notes that remained in circulation for nearly two decades — an unusually long run that reflects both the stability of the centrally planned economy and the relatively low transaction velocity in rural Mongolia during this period.
The designers Ts. Minjuur and D. Tserenpil are among the few named Mongolian nationals credited on a domestic banknote series, a rarity given that earlier Mongolian issues relied heavily on Soviet printing facilities and design staff. Where this series was actually printed remains a point of some ambiguity in the literature.
