Obverse description Armored bust of Wolfgang William of Pfalz-Neuburg facing right, with elaborately rendered hair and gorget, the large effigy breaking both the inner beaded circle and the surrounding legend. The circular Latin legend is arranged between a rope-pattern inner border and the coin's rim. The motto IN DEO MEA CONSOLA (In God is my consolation) appears in the field to the right of the bust, integrated within the portrait's space.
