Reverse description Large, ornate quartered oval coat of arms of the Palatinate-Neuburg territories, surmounted by a princely crown and supported on either side by winged angels (putti). The elaborately detailed escutcheon incorporates the arms of the Palatinate, Bavaria, Jülich, Cleves, and Berg, among others. The date 1632 appears in the upper field, flanked by a cross. The mint mark of the Neuburg an der Donau mint appears at the base of the shield. The Latin legend runs around the periphery within a beaded border.
