Obverse description Draped and armored bust of Wolfgang William facing right, wearing an elaborate lace ruff collar, with the hair cropped short. The effigy is rendered in high relief in the early Baroque style. The surrounding legend reads in Latin, interrupted by the bust, with a beaded inner border and a milled outer rim.

Reverse description Crowned manifold quartered coat of arms of the Palatinate-Neuburg territories, displaying multiple heraldic quarterings including the Palatinate lion, the Bavarian lozengy, and other dynastic arms, enclosed within an ornate baroque cartouche. The date 1623 is divided on either side of the shield within the field. The surrounding Latin legend is separated by a beaded inner border, with a milled outer rim.
