Obverse description Draped bust of Wolfgang William, Count Palatine of Neuburg, facing right, wearing an elaborate ruffled lace collar and armored pauldron. The effigy displays a bearded portrait with curled hair in the late Renaissance style. A two-line circular legend surrounds the bust, divided between the outer and inner rings, with a beaded inner border. The motto IN. DEO. MEO. CONSOLATIO. (In my God is my consolation) appears within the inner legend ring, while the outer legend reads the ruler's titles and name.
