Obverse description Bare-headed right-facing effigy of King Wilhelm I of Prussia, depicted with characteristic sideburns and beard rendered in fine detail. The truncation of the bust is clean and unadorned. The circular legend reads WILHELM KOENIG VON PREUSSEN, distributed around the upper and lateral fields, with the Berlin mint mark 'A' positioned centrally below the bust at the bottom of the field.
