Reverse description Quartered heraldic shield of the Duchy of Württemberg, displaying the arms of Württemberg and Teck in the upper quarters and Mömpelgard and Reichssturmfahne in the lower quarters, surmounted by a crested helmet with the Württemberg stag as crest and a radiant sun above. The shield is set within a beaded inner circle, with the date MDXXXVII (1537) incorporated into the surrounding Latin legend. The reverse legend conveys a devotional inscription attributing glory to God Almighty. The heraldic engraving is characteristic of the Renaissance German territorial coinage tradition.
