| Reverse description | Quartered coat of arms of Württemberg within a shield, displaying in the upper quarters the three antlers of Württemberg and the lozengy field of Teck, and in the lower quarters an eagle and the fish of Montbéliard, all rendered in the bold, slightly crude style typical of hammered Rhenish thalers. The date 1537 is divided across the field to either side of the shield. The surrounding legend SIT NOMEN DOMINI BENEDICTVM — 'Blessed be the name of the Lord' — runs along the full circumference within a beaded inner border, separated by decorative stops and a small floral ornament. |
