| Beschrijving voorzijde | Central quadripartite arms of the Bishopric of Worms, divided into four quarters displaying the heraldic devices of the see, surmounted by an elaborate crested episcopal helmet with mantling extending to either side. The shield is flanked by ornamental supporters and the entire composition is enclosed within a rope or beaded border. The surrounding legend reads THEODORICVS DG EPIS WORMATIE, identifying the issuing bishop by name and title in Latin. |
