Obverse description Draped bust of Archbishop Sigismund III von Schrattenbach facing right, with engraver's initials FM truncated below the bust. The encircling Latin legend, commencing at approximately 8 o'clock, reads the full titulature of the Archbishop as Prince of Salzburg, Apostolic Legate, and Primate of Germany. The portrait is rendered in the baroque court style characteristic of mid-eighteenth-century Germanic ecclesiastical coinage.
