Reverse description Crowned Imperial double-headed eagle displayed, with wings spread, bearing on its breast a large quartered escutcheon of the Habsburg hereditary lands. The mint marks K and B appear in the lower field, flanking a decorative floral ornament below the shield. The date 1691 is divided in the legend at the top. The circumferential Latin legend reads: ARCHIDVX · AVS · DVX · BVR · MAR · MOR · CO · TY · 16 91 K B, referencing Leopold I's titles as Archduke of Austria, Duke of Burgundy, Margrave of Moravia, and Count of Tyrol. The eagle and armorial design are executed in the elaborate Baroque engraving tradition of the Kremnitz mint.
