| Obverse description | Laureate bust of Emperor Rudolph II facing right, wearing a ruffled collar without drapery or clasp, enclosed within a double inner circle consisting of a braided outer ring and a plain inner ring. The ribbon of the Order of the Golden Fleece, without tassel, is visible at the breast, with a short ribbon length behind the laurel wreath. The date appears below the bust, and the continuous legend commences at 12 o'clock proceeding clockwise. |
