Obverse description Laureate bust of Emperor Rudolph II facing right, wearing a ruffled collar without drapery or clasp, enclosed within a double inner circle consisting of a braided outer ring and a plain inner ring. The ribbon of the Order of the Golden Fleece, without tassel, is visible at the breast, with a short ribbon length behind the laurel wreath. The date appears below the bust, and the continuous legend commences at 12 o'clock proceeding clockwise.

Reverse description A round-bottomed composite heraldic shield displaying the arms of the Habsburg territories with the County of Tyrol prominently positioned at the center top, surmounted by an imperial crown. The chain of the Order of the Golden Fleece is arranged in a semi-circular form around the shield, with the suspended fleece (lamb) pendant bisecting the legend below. No additional ornament accompanies the shield design, and the crown appears at top center above the achievement.
