Obverse description Central field depicts a detailed relief view of the historic Evangelical Church of Darkehmen (now Ozyorsk), a substantial Gothic stone edifice with a prominent tower and arched windows, rendered in fine detail. Above the church in the upper field, a heraldic Prussian eagle displayed appears within a shield. The outer legend along the upper rim reads ИСТОРИЯ ВОСТОЧНОЙ ПРУССИИ (History of East Prussia) in Cyrillic. To the right side of the field, the Latin inscription DARKEHMEN and the founding date 1539 are inscribed vertically. Along the lower rim, the Cyrillic legend ОЗЁРСК 1946 records the town's Soviet-era renaming, framed within a beaded border.

Reverse description The central field features the large numeral '1' in an ornate decorative style, flanked by elaborate foliate scroll ornaments. Beneath the numeral, the denomination ТАЛЕР is inscribed in a bold Gothic-style typeface within a cartouche. The date 2014 appears in the lower central field below the denomination. The mint's initials СВ are incuse in small characters to the right of the numeral. The circular legend КАЛИНИНГРАДСКИЙ МОНЕТНО-ЖЕТОННЫЙ ДВОР runs along the upper rim, while the legend КАЛИНИНГРАД is inscribed along the lower rim between two small five-pointed stars, all within a beaded border.
