| Obverse description | Right-facing armored bust of Archduke Maximilian III of Austria, depicted with a full beard and wearing articulated pauldron armor with a prominent lace ruff collar. The portrait is rendered in high relief in the late Renaissance style, occupying the majority of the coin's field. The date 1615 appears to the right of the bust within the field. A Latin legend encircles the effigy, reading the ruler's name and abbreviated titles, contained within an inner beaded border and an outer milled border. |
