Reverse description The Virgin Mary, crowned and enthroned in a frontal facing position, holds the Christ Child upon her lap; her feet rest upon an inverted crescent moon with clouds below, the entire composition encircled by a radiant arc of flames forming a mandorla. The design follows the Immaculate Conception iconography popular in Counter-Reformation Bavarian coinage. A Latin devotional legend encircles the image along the coin's periphery, ending with a stop.
Reverse script Latin
Reverse lettering CLYPEVS OMNIBVS IN TE SPERANTIBVS.
