The escutcheon is elaborately supported by decorative scrollwork and flanked by two rampant lions as supporters. A small central inescutcheon bears the orb of the Holy Roman Empire. The date 16-24 is divided at the base of the shield. The circumferential legend, rendered in Latin, reads: MAXI: D:G: COM: P: RH: V. BA. DVX. S. R. I. AR. ET.
