| 正面描述 | Draped bust of Empress Maria Theresia facing right, her hair elaborately dressed and pinned up, wearing a pearl-adorned bodice with a lace-trimmed décolletage. A circular legend in Latin surrounds the effigy, commencing at approximately 8 o'clock. The portrait is rendered in a refined baroque style characteristic of mid-18th century Habsburg coinage. |

Maria Theresia inherited Bohemia under immediate contest — the War of Austrian Succession began the same year she took the throne, with Prussian and Bavarian forces occupying Prague itself in 1741. The Prague mint operated under genuine political instability throughout the 1740s, and the thalers struck there in the following decade carry the administrative imprint of a crown still reasserting control over its own minting apparatus.
The Dav EC III#1136A designation distinguishes this from the more common Vienna-struck issues of the same period. Prague production across this decade was modest relative to the Austrian mints.
