| Obverse description | Right-facing draped bust of Empress Maria Theresia, her elaborately curled hair worn loose and falling to the shoulder, dressed in an ornate bodice adorned with a jewelled necklace and lace trim, the truncation featuring decorative drapery. The effigy is rendered in high relief in a baroque portrait style characteristic of the Hall mint. The circumferential Latin legend reads M·THERESIA·D·G·R·IMP·HU·BO·REG·, separated from the toothed border by a narrow flat rim. |
