| Reverse description | A crowned imperial double-headed eagle displayed in the centre of the field, its wings spread and each head facing outward, supporting on its breast a large quartered coat of arms bearing the dynastic and territorial arms of the Habsburg dominions. The encircling Latin legend ARCHID·AUST·DUX·BU·COM·TYR· is interrupted at the left by the date 1753 and the mintmark X for Hall, all within a beaded inner border. The eagle is rendered in fine baroque style with detailed feathering and scroll-work at the base of the shield. |
