| Obverse description | Draped bust of Empress Maria Theresa facing right, her hair styled in elaborate curls with two longer pendant curls falling to the shoulder, the décolletage adorned with a floral brooch and lace trim. The effigy is rendered in high relief in a Baroque manner, with fine detail on the hair and drapery. A beaded inner border frames the design. The Latin legend runs continuously around the periphery, divided by spaced dots. |
