Beschrijving voorzijde	Armored knight standing three-quarters facing right, wearing plumed helmet and holding a large heraldic shield charged with a rampant lion. The figure is rendered in a baroque style with elaborate drapery and decorative scroll-work framing the composition. A beaded inner circle borders the central design, with the Latin legend distributed around the periphery. The shield and knight together form the principal armorial device of the Grimaldi lords of Monaco.

Beschrijving keerzijde	A rampant lion passant to sinister occupies the central field, depicted with a flowing mane and raised forepaw, set within a beaded inner circle. The date 1668 appears prominently in the upper left field alongside a small rosette ornament. The Latin legend encircles the design around the outer border. The lion, a traditional heraldic emblem of the Grimaldi dynasty, is boldly engraved in a robust baroque style consistent with seventeenth-century Monegasque coinage.
