| Obverse description | Right-facing draped bust of Prince Louis Günther II of Schwarzburg-Rudolstadt, depicted in elaborate court dress with lace cravat, decorative order badge at the breast, and powdered wig tied with a ribbon, rendered in high relief in the late Baroque style. The effigy occupies the majority of the coin's field, with fine detail evident in the garments and facial features. A circular Latin legend surrounds the portrait, reading D.G.LVDOVIC.GVNTHERVS.PR:SCHWARZB.RVD.DOM.SCHW SENIOR, identifying the ruler by the grace of God as Prince of Schwarzburg-Rudolstadt and Senior Lord of Schwarzburg.
