| Obverse description | Central field occupied by the elaborate quartered arms of the Archbishopric of Trier, surmounted by an ornate crested helmet with flowing mantling extending to either side. The two-digit date 6-7 (for 1607) is divided by the helmet crest at the top of the shield. The circumferential Latin legend runs within a beaded inner circle, with a further beaded border at the rim. |
