Obverse description Armored bust of Archduke Leopold V facing right, dividing the date in the field. A continuous Latin legend surrounds the effigy, reading in full: Leopoldus Dei Gratia Archidux Austriae Dux Burgundiae Sacrae Caesarae Majestatis et Reliquorum. The portrait is rendered in the detailed baroque style characteristic of early seventeenth-century Tyrolean coinage, with the subject depicted in elaborate plate armor.
