Obverse description Laureate and armored bust of Emperor Leopold I facing right, wearing a laurel wreath adorned with a feather plume tied with a ribbon at the back, draped in elaborately worked plate armor with a lace cravat visible at the neck. The emperor's characteristic prominent jaw and Habsburg physiognomy are rendered in high relief. A beaded inner border frames the design, with the Latin legend arranged around the full circumference of the coin.

Reverse description Crowned imperial double-headed eagle displayed, with wings spread and each head bearing a crown, the central shield on the eagle's breast depicting the quartered arms of Hungary. The date appears in the upper field flanking the crown, and the mint mark 'N B' (for Nagybánya / Baia Mare) is placed in the lower exergual area below the shield. A beaded inner border frames the design, with the Latin titulature legend surrounding the entire composition.
