| Reverse description | Central device is a large ornate cross fleury, elaborately decorated with foliate and scrollwork embellishments at each terminal, executed in a baroque style characteristic of mid-eighteenth century German coinage. The cross is set within a plain inner field. The circular legend, reading NOMEN DOMINI TURRIS FORTISSIMA (The name of the Lord is a most strong tower, Proverbs 18:10), is distributed around the periphery together with the date 1764. The coin is enclosed by a finely milled outer border. |
