Obverse description Central quartered shield of arms displaying the armorial bearings of Holstein-Schaumburg-Pinneberg, divided into four quarters bearing mullets (six-pointed stars) and horizontal bars, surmounted by an ornate crowned helm with elaborate mantling and crest. Two wild men or heraldic supporters flank the shield on either side. The circumferential Latin legend runs along the inner border, separated from the coin's milled edge by a beaded inner circle.
