Obverse description Central field displays a four-fold quartered coat of arms of Hohenzollern with crossed scepters, the date 15-44 divided at either side. Two elaborately mantled and crested helms rise above the shield, rendered in fine Renaissance heraldic style. The circumferential Latin legend runs continuously around the periphery, separated from the central device by a beaded inner border.
