The center of the cruciform design bears a circular shield with the arms of Bavaria (lozengy bendy sinister). The mintmaster initials F W appear in the legend. The surrounding circular legend reads RECTE CONSTANTER ET FORTITER, translating as 'Rightly, Steadfastly, and Boldly.'
