| Beschrijving keerzijde | Quartered shield displaying the arms of the Archbishopric of Trier impaled with the personal arms of the Schönenberg family, dividing the last two digits of the date 90 on either side. A sword and a crozier are crossed saltire-wise behind the shield, symbolising temporal and spiritual authority, with a mitre displayed above. The full date 1590 is split by the shield, and the mint legend running around the periphery identifies the coin as a new silver money struck at Koblenz (Confluentia). |
