Reverse description Elaborately decorated quartered coat of arms of the County of Hanau-Lichtenberg displayed on a baroque shield, surmounted by multiple crested helms with ornate mantling and scrollwork issuing from all sides. Crowned supporters and decorative flourishes fill the field around the central achievement. The continuous Latin legend surrounding the design within a beaded border reads: IN LIECHT. BI. ET OCH. MAR. ET ADVO ARG., referencing the Count's titles in Lichtenberg, Bitche, Ochsenstein, and Advocatus of Strasbourg.
