Above the shield, a bishop's mitre flanked by a crozier and the papal key of Saint Kilian are visible as ecclesiastical insignia. The divided date appears below the shield in the exergue area. The entire composition is executed in the exuberant high-relief Baroque style typical of Franconian thaler coinage of the period. |
