Obverse description A standing stag facing left is depicted in the central field, positioned before a tall victory column or pillar surmounted by a cross and crown, the emblematic device of the County of Stolberg. The stag stands on a low rectangular plinth or base, rendered in a detailed baroque engraving style. A circular beaded border frames the design, with the peripheral Latin legend reading the titles of Count Johann Martin I of Stolberg. The composition reflects the heraldic and emblematic numismatic conventions typical of mid-17th century German territorial coinage.
