Reverse description An angel in flight, depicted with outstretched wings and robes billowing, soars to the right amid clouds, holding a scroll or tablet inscribed with the date A.C. 1530, referencing the year of the Augsburg Confession. Below, a semicircular cartouche bears a bilingual inscription in German and Latin citing Romans 10:18. The outer legend in Latin and German continues the religious dedication around the full circumference of the field. The composition evokes the proclamation of the Lutheran faith and its universal spread, rendered in the Baroque artistic tradition.
