The shield is surmounted by a mitre flanked by two ornate helmets with foliate crests, the whole achievement executed in high relief in the Baroque style. The mintmaster's initials GFN appear in the lower field beneath the escutcheon. The circular Latin legend reads D.G. JOAN. EUCHARIUS EPISCOPUS EYSTETTENSIS S.ROM.IMP.PRINCEPS, separated by a beaded inner border from the reeded rim. |
