Obverse description Bare-headed left-facing effigy of King Johann of Saxony, rendered in high relief with finely detailed hair swept back and gathered at the nape. The truncation of the bust is plain and unadorned. The encircling Latin legend reads IOHANN V.G.G. KOENIG V. SACHSEN, with the mint mark F positioned in the exergue at the base of the coin. The entire design is enclosed within a beaded border.
