The shields are surmounted by an elaborate baroque cartouche with foliate ornament and a winged element at the top. The date 1606 appears in the lower field between the bases of the two shields. The surrounding legend reads IOHANNES CONRADVS D G EPISCOPVS EYSTETENS, interrupted by a decorative cross-pattée stop. |
