Obverse description Two armored, helmeted standing figures flank a central composition, each holding a heraldic shield: the figure at left displays the arms of Saxony, while the figure at right bears the arms of Henneberg. An imperial orb is positioned above the central field between the two figures. The date 1694 appears in the lower field, flanked by asterisks. The circular Latin legend is contained within the outer border.

Reverse description A crowned hen, the heraldic symbol of Henneberg, stands prominently in the center of the field atop a triple-peaked mound (drei Berge), rendered in detailed relief. The bird faces right, its crown clearly defined above its head, with naturalistic feather detailing on the wings and tail. A beaded inner circle frames the central device, separating it from the surrounding Latin legend. The mintmaster's initials B A appear in the exergue below, flanked by pellets. Decorative floral and foliate ornaments punctuate the legend.
