Obverse description Three-quarter-length figure of St. Anthony of Padua at left, turned toward the right, holding the Christ Child in his arms; the Virgin Mary appears at right among clouds, extending a wreath over St. Anthony's head in a gesture of coronation. A two-line inscription occupies the exergue below the figures. The composition is rendered in the ornate Baroque style characteristic of late 17th-century German ecclesiastical coinage.
