| 正面描述 | Draped bust of Henry XI, Count of Reuss-Greiz, facing right, with long curled wig rendered in fine rococo style. The engraver's initials 'Sr.' appear in small letters beneath the truncation. The circumferential Latin legend runs clockwise around the portrait, interrupted only by the bust itself. The coin's milled border frames the design with a fine dentilated rim. |

Henry XI ruled the Greiz line of the notoriously fragmented Reuss family, whose peculiar dynastic tradition named every male heir Heinrich — distinguished only by regnal numbers that climbed into the hundreds across branches. The "Ausbeute" designation marks this as a mining output thaler, struck directly from silver extracted from Reuss territorial mines, a practice that carried both economic and prestige value for small principalities whose political weight rarely matched their mineral luck.
Davenport's German Talers II places this among a tightly documented but genuinely scarce series. Production runs for Reuss Ausbeute issues were never large.
