Reverse description Within a central ring suspended by hands emerging from clouds on both the left and right sides, an ornate quartered coat of arms displays the arms of Pfalz and Bavaria with the central escutcheon of Veldenz. Above the arms, the date 1588 is inscribed, and a five-line motto legend fills the lower portion of the reverse field. The composition is framed by a beaded border with the surrounding legend completing the design.
