| Obverse description | Crowned quartered coat of arms displayed at center, featuring the arms of England and Scotland in the first and fourth quarters, France (fleurs-de-lis) in the second quarter, and Ireland (harp) and Hanover (white horse) in the third and fourth quarters respectively, all supported by elaborate baroque scrollwork mantling.
