Obverse description Central field displays the elaborately quartered arms of Brunswick-Lüneburg, incorporating lions rampant, a horse, an eagle, and other dynastic quarterings, surmounted by an electoral bonnet adorned with a cross finial. The shield is set within the field without a cartouche, its heraldic detail rendered in high relief. A circular Latin legend surrounds the arms, reading the ruler's full titles, with the date 1715 appearing at the top of the legend. The coin's milled border frames the entire composition.

Reverse description Central field depicts a full-length standing figure of Saint Andrew the Apostle, shown bearded and nimbed, his drapery gathered at the waist, leaning against the diagonal saltire cross of his martyrdom. The saint faces slightly to the right, arms outstretched toward the arms of the cross in a devotional pose. Mintmaster's initials appear in the lower field flanking the base. The surrounding Latin legend SANCTVS * ANDREAS * REVIVISCENS (Saint Andrew Reviving) alludes to the mine-production (Ausbeute) theme of the issue, the silver having been struck from ore of the Harz mining district.
